So we are back in Nairobi for the next couple of days. The Crossroads Church team has just left us to go on a Safari for the next two days and we all said our goodbyes until we see eachother again in the states. Trevor and I will be in Nairobi until Sunday shopping and experiencing the metropolitan city! It was sad saying our goodbyes to the other members but I know that we will all meet again especially those back in Kwale. Our stay in Kwale, Kenya was amazing and I will NEVER forget the people I met and the moments we all shared together. What lies ahead in Zambia is unknown, but I can honestly say if it's anything like we have experienced in Kwale, we will be blown away, again. One of the best parts of our trip so far, other than our overnight stay in Malindi, Kenya, was when we received our gifts from the pastors that attended the conference that the Crossroads Church members put on. We were given kikoy cloths, handmade necklaces and a carved lion to each one of us. It brought me to tears. I was so grateful for everything they did for us and it was sad to leave them all. I'm sorry I haven't been able to post pictures, but the internet is incredibly slow here and it would be too difficult to get the pictures posted.
