Katie Clementson was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas on October 20, 1983. She has been shooting photography since she began in her high school’s journalism class in 1999. She graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 2002 and went to The University of Oklahoma. She was there for a year and transferred to The University of Incarnate Word where she received her BFA in Photography in May of 2009. Once she found her calling in photography, Katie has strived to place herself in as many photo opportunities as possible.

Katie has featured some of her sports photos in The University of Incarnate Word’s Logos Newspaper in the February 2009 issue. Katie has also had the opportunity to work for the San Antonio Spurs as an assistant to the team’s head photographer. She was featured in an article written about the head photographer on NBA.com during the 2007-08 season. As well as working for the Spurs, Katie runs her own photography business as an events and wedding photographer. She has taken jobs such as freelancing for the Final Four in San Antonio in 2008 and San Antonio’s yearly Fiesta events since 2007. She has also assisted photographers for the San Antonio Magazine. Katie is always willing to assist and find new jobs to photograph.

Katie has shown her work in galleries and has been published in several different magazines, including San Antonio Magazine and The Score.
